Group Bookings & Venue Hire
A Room Full of Things to Do一整晚都不会冷场
Yao 8 Pool Club is an easy venue for a group. Multiple Chinese 8-ball and billiards tables on the main floor, a full-size snooker table, private mahjong rooms and private karaoke booths — all under one roof in Mount Eden, minutes from Kingsland, Newmarket and Balmoral. Nobody has to stand around holding a drink making conversation, because there's always something to be doing.
We're open until 2am Friday to Sunday and midnight through the week, so a booking doesn't have to end early. Groups can book a block of tables, a private room, or both.

Good For适合人群
Birthdays
Book a run of tables and a karaoke booth. Works for a group of six or a group of thirty, and it runs late.
Work Socials & Team Nights
Low-pressure, no seating plan, and people who don't know each other end up playing doubles. Easier than a restaurant.
Student & Club Nights
Hourly rates and top-up credit make it easy to budget for a big group. Popular with university clubs and social leagues.
Tournaments & League Play
We already run singles and doubles tournaments every second Sunday, so we're set up for organised play. Talk to us about hosting yours.
Mahjong Sessions
Private rooms with automatic tables — $20 an hour, capped at $80, so a long session stays predictable.
Karaoke PartiesK
Private booths from $10 an hour. Pair one with a couple of tables and move between the two across the night.
